This Privacy Policy explains how the LinkedWizard Chrome Extension and the LinkedWizard website (“we”, “our”, “us”) collect, use, and protect your information. We are committed to transparency and safeguarding your privacy.

We only collect the minimum data required to operate our service.

2.1 Information Collected by the Chrome Extension

• Website Content (LinkedIn input fields) - Text you type or highlight inside LinkedIn message, comment, or post fields. This text is used only to generate AI writing suggestions and is not stored after processing.
• Personally Identifiable Information (Google Login) - If you sign in via Google within the extension popup, we collect your name and email to identify your account and verify subscription status.
• Local Settings - Small preferences (UI settings, feature toggles, and authentication tokens) may be stored locally via Chrome Storage.

2.2 Information Collected by Our Website

• Stripe Payment Information - When subscribing to LinkedWizard paid plans, Stripe securely processes your payment method and billing details. We do not store or have access to your full payment information.
• Google Login on Dashboard - When logging into our website, we may collect your name and email to authenticate your account and provide access.

• Generate AI writing suggestions using only the text you explicitly provide
• Authenticate your LinkedWizard account via Google Login
• Verify and sync subscription status
• Process payments through Stripe (website only)
• Provide customer support
• Improve the service using non-identifiable, aggregated usage data

• LinkedIn passwords or login credentials
• Full LinkedIn messages or chats (beyond the text you submit for suggestions)
• Your LinkedIn connections or profile data
• Browsing history
• Precise location data
• Cookies (within the extension)

We never sell or rent your data. We only share information with trusted service providers:

• Stripe - Payment processing and billing compliance (website transactions only)
• Google OAuth - Authentication to identify your account
• AI provider - Processing the text you submit to return suggestions (not stored)

These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function and are prohibited from using it for other purposes.

• Text submitted for AI suggestions is not stored.
• Account data (name, email) is retained while your account remains active or until deletion.
• Stripe retains payment records as required by law.

We implement strong security measures including HTTPS, secure OAuth authentication, encrypted token storage, and secure Stripe payment processing. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of your stored personal data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent (where applicable)
• Cancel subscriptions
